First, the guests visited the Victory Park memorial complex in Tashkent and got acquainted with the activities of this complex. After that, a round table was held in the small conference hall of the Shon-Sharaf State Museum with the participation of the leadership of the Victory Park memorial complex.

        For her contribution to perpetuating the memory of our compatriots, World War II veterans Akhmadjon Mamadjonov and Turgun Kuchkarov, as well as for the wide coverage of their memory in world sources, Marta Tonjiani was awarded the badge of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Zhangovar hamdustlikni mustaqkamlashdagi hizmatlari uchun”. In addition, Uzbek national costumes were presented to the guests.

        The guests from Italy left for the city of Andijan to visit the birthplace of Akhmadjon Mamadjonov and Turgun Kuchkarov.
