In the words of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, “This is a great history, no one will ever forget. This glorious history gives us strength and encourages us to appreciate peace! ”

Indeed, peace is a great blessing, the value of which cannot be compared to anything else. Respecting the past and stabilizing today's peaceful life in our country, preserving the honor of our nation, educating young people in the spirit of devotion to the motherland, the feelings of devotion, humanity, devotion to the motherland inherited from our ancestors, our compatriots, especially young people. the efforts are bearing fruit in practice. It is no exaggeration to say that the meetings and events aimed at strengthening the ties of mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples will serve as a bridge to build a strong future.

On June 21, the Russian party "A Just Russia" with the participation of political parties of the CIS countries held an international teleconference on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. The event, held in the form of a video conference, was held in collaboration with activists of the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" in the memorial complex "Victory Garden" in the Almazar district of Tashkent and the State Museum "Shon-Sharaf".

All the countries participating in the teleconference exchanged views on the horrific events that took place during the Second World War, as well as on the courage and tenacity shown by the selfless people behind the front and the front.

It is known that more than 2 million Uzbeks fought for peace in the Great Patriotic War. 538,000 of our compatriots were killed and more than 158,000 were missing. During those terrible war years, the whole of Uzbekistan, especially Tashkent, was in the embrace of love, and the fact that not only 200,000 orphans were placed in orphanages, but also in homes, is a vivid expression of our opinion.

At the end of the event, representatives of all states at the same time laid wreaths at the foot of the monument as a symbol of respect in front of the monuments erected in honor of the brave and courageous people who showed courage in maintaining peace.

The Uzbek delegation also paid tribute to General Sabir Rakhimov, who is at the top of the Shon Sharaf State Museum, and to the Eternal Courage monument erected in honor of all the brave and courageous sons and daughters of Uzbekistan.
