The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA), the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a scientific-practical conference “The Second World War in history and memory. of the peoples of Central Asia: events, participants, symbols ”in the Memorial complex “ Victory Park ”.

The Complex was created on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism, and is a vivid embodiment of the feat of our compatriots on the battlefields, selfless labor in the rear, perseverance, nobility and love for the Motherland. The Aim of the Memorial Complex is to tell the present and future generations about the worthy contribution of Uzbekistan to the Great Victory.
